Am I required to know what I envision before we begin?

You do not need a plan, only a willingness to begin. Many of our clients come to us feeling unsure or overwhelmed which is completely normal. We first take the time to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and guide the discovery process of what feels right for your home and your life.

I have a busy life, will the design take a lot of my time?

Time is our most valuable gift and we understand its importance for everyone involved. Our process is intentionally calm, organized, and efficient. We do the preparation to make sure your involvement feels focused, meaningful, and never overwhelming.

Will you help manage all the details, or is that up to me?

We are here to support your vision of the space. From guiding design decisions to coordinating trusted professionals and materials, which is where our listening skills come into play to make sure, we remember what you want, so you don’t have too during the decision-making process.

We aim to simplify the process to remove unnecessary stress, allowing enjoyment in the transformation instead of burdened by it.

Are you able to design my home with future needs in mind?

Yes! This is at the heart of what we do by first discovering your current and future needs. We thoughtfully design spaces that support comfort, safety, and ease of movement over time, while still feeling warm, beautiful, and inviting. Our goal is to help your home grow with you, gracefully and naturally.

How do you make sure my home still feels like me?

We believe your home should reflect who you are and how you live. Most of us may know someone with a beautiful designed home that feels inviting at first, but the longer you stay you notice it lacks warmth and personal touch that makes a home feel cozy.

That’s why we take a very personal approach, learning what brings you peace, joy, and comfort before continuing the design process. Once established and your well-being in mind, we review natural materials to calming layouts with light-filled spaces.

How does sustainability and biophilia fit into designs?

Well-being is the foundation of everything we do in business and our personal lives. Sustainability and biophilia is thinking thoughtfully and practically from start to finish involving health of our clients, trades professionals and waste management.

We prioritize durable materials, timeless design, and mindful choices that reduce waste and support healthier living environments. It’s about creating a space that feels good today and the future with nature light, calming colours, design to lead our eyes and bodies outside.

Will you work within my budget?

Absolutely. We believe good design is about making intentional choices with honest and transparent quotes to avoid unnecessary cost surprises. We help you focus on what truly matters, educate where to splurge or cut back on to deliver results that provide lasting value.  

How long does the process usually take?

Every property, space and client are unique to work with which can factor into the completion of a thoughtful design and renovation. We set clear expectations from the start and move at a pace that feels steady and considerate to avoid the feeling of being rushed. Our priority is getting it right, not just getting it done.

What is the first step if I’m just window shopping?

We invite you to start with a complimentary discovery call. It is a relaxed, no pressure conversation to discuss your dream space and determine if we are the right fit. Design and renovations can last months to years, and it’s important our clients and us get to know each other prior to engaging in the process of transforming your hard-earned money into your family’s wellness space.
